Rudy Giuliani, a personal lawyer of U.S. President Donald Trump, says Iran's government "has to go." He made the statement in an interview with RFE/RL‘s Radio Farda on the sidelines of a major Middle East conference in Warsaw, Poland. Iranian officials have called the meeting an "anti-Iran circus." Giuliani said he was speaking in his personal capacity and not as an official representative of the U.S. administration. Giuliani also spoke at a rally in Warsaw organized by the Iranian exile opposition group, Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MKO or MEK), which was once listed by the United States and the European Union as a terrorist organization. He has acknowledged receiving payments from the group in the past.
