Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has on Wednesday June 5 accused Israel of lying about Iran's alleged role in attacks on four ships in Fujairah, the United Arab Emirates.

The United Arab Emirates said on May 12 that four ships including two Saudi oil tankers were attacked near the port of Fujairah.

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the United States have accused Iran of being involved in the attacks.

Meanwhile, an Israeli state-run TV channel has claimed that the Israeli secret services has provided U.S. officials with damning evidence of Iran's involvement in the attacks.

"The #B Team's boy [meaning Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu] who cries wolf is crying once again: this time Mossad is fabricating intelligence about Iran's involvement in sabotage in Fujairah. I've warned of “accidents” and false flags—we know what happens when you believe their lies. We've been here before, haven't we?" Zarif has said in a tweet.

Iran has coined the term B Team to allege that Netanyahu, U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman are in a conspiracy together against Iran.

Zarif had said earlier that he predicted such events as attempts "to fuel the tensions" between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
