Iranian women will be allowed to enter the Azadi Stadium in Tehran to see the Iran team play Portugal. Nasser Mahmudifard the manager of Tehran's largest stadium told ISNA that women will be allowed in to watch the match.

Iran's match on Monday against Portrugal will be their last chance to get from the group stage to group of 16.

Iranian women have been barred from attending matches since the 1979 Islamic revolution.

Last week for the first time, authorities allowed women to enter the stadium in the last minute to watch Iran's match against Spain.
