Iran's Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian says a Russian trade delegation consisting of 250 Russian businessmen will visit Iran Monday and Tuesday June 17 and 18.
Ardakanian said this during an economic conference in Isfahan on Sunday attended, among others, by Russia's North Caucasia Minister.
According to an ISNA report, some 60 people linked to private and public sector companies in Russia were present at the conference.
Iran's Ministry of Energy handles the affairs relating to Iran and Russia's joint economic commission, said Ardakanian.
While US sanctions imposed on Tehran following Washington's pull-out from the nuclear deal with Iran will affect foreign companies working with Iran, Ardakanian told the press in Isfahan that banking is a major topic in the talks between Iran and Russia.
He said that the two sides' Central banks are currently furthering intensive talks.
