Deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has said that Islamic Republic’s policies depend on the conduct of its enemies, and enemies should not ask “Iran to leave the region because they are the ones who should leave”.

Hossein salami, deputy commander of IRGC speaking in Shahre Kord during a revolution anniversary also said, “We will go to the assistance of any Muslim, anywhere in the world who needs our help and will not allow infidels to dominate Muslims”.

The U.S. and some of its allies have accused Iran of interference in regional countries and have demanded an end to the presence of Iranian forces in Iraq and Syria.

Salami added “We will confront the enemy in far-away places and even in places where they could not imagine”, adding, “We have whipped and slapped America hard many times and inflicted defeats on the U.S. during history.”

Another commander said on Monday that Iran would demolish cities in Israel to the ground if the United States attacked the Islamic Republic.

"The United States does not have the courage to shoot a single bullet at us despite all its defensive and military assets. But if they attack us, we will raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground," Yadollah Javani, the IRGC deputy head for political affairs was quoted as saying by state news agency IRNA.

He was also speaking at a rally celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Islamic revolution.
