BAKU -- The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran, and Turkey are set to meet on December 20 in Baku.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said that Azerbaijan's Elmar Mammadyarov, Mohammad Javad Zarif of Iran, and Turkey’s Mevlut Cavusoglu would exchange views on "the prospects for enhancing regional cooperation."
The participants are due to discuss a broad range of issues in various economic fields including transit, transportation, energy, and customs, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
Mammadyarov, Zarif, and Cavusoglu were expected to hold a joint press conference after their talks.
It will be the fifth trilateral meeting between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran, and Turkey since 2011.
