U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply condemned the bombing that killed at least 22 people including children in Manchester, England, saying it was carried out by "evil losers."

Trump, who spoke alongside Palestinian Authority President Mahmud Abbas after talks in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, offered his "deepest condolences" to the victims and their families.

Trump said the attack preyed on "innocent children," adding that this "wicked ideology must be obliterated. And I mean completely obliterated."

Trump also said that "civilized nations must join together to protect human life."

The U.S. president was visiting the West Bank a day after arriving in Israel, where he held talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials.
