A group of angry protesters stormed Tehran Stock Exchange market on July 1.

In the videos posted on social media of the incident, the protesters are heard shouting slogans against the Stock Exchange Organization and the Iranian Electricity Meter Manufacturing Company.

The protesters say the company deceived them with inaccurate information which showed its shares were rising in value. They also accuse the Stock Exchange Organization of colluding with the Electricity Meter Manufacturing Company in hiding the real figures and accurate data from shareholders.
