An Iranian human rights group on February 25 reported that a court has sentenced five individuals arrested during November protests to a total of thirty years in prison as well as flogging and exile.
Iranian authorities have not officially announced how many were arrested during the protests in November. It is also not clear how many of the arrested protesters are still being held in detention. Some of the protesters, however, have been put on trial in various regions.

Another court, Branch 36 of Tehran Revolutionary court has sentenced Samira Hadian who was also arrested during the protests on November 20 to eight years in prison.
Gita Horr, 28, arrested on November 20 has been sentenced to six years in prison on charges of "rallying and collusion against national and international security" and "propaganda against the system" by the revolutionary court. Another defendant, the 51-year-old Mozhgan Eskandari has been sentenced to three years in prison for "collusion through presence in illegal rallies.
The fifth in the list published by Abdorrahman Boroumand Center is 36-year-oldMohammad Hejazifar, sentenced to 18 months for "rallying and collusion against the system" and "insulting the President" by the Revolutionary Court of Shahriyar.
